Setup Instructions for WAG160N/WAG54G2/Others
Note: WAG54G2 Seems to drop sync and resync at strange speeds, connextant chip?
1) Connect to the routers Management Interface (it's http://192.168.1.1 by default, the deafult login is admin/admin)
2) Select "Setup" From the Top Left of the menu
3) Select RFC 1483 Bridged Mode as the "Encapsulation"
Step 4 for Dynamic IP customers and Static IP customers on the New Network:
4a) select the option "Automatically obtain an IP address"
4b) If you plugged in a router before having plugged in the WAG160N, you may need to change your Router MAC Address. Check the Router previously plugged in and copy the MAC Addresses.
4c) Select "MAC Address clone" from "Setup" and use This MAC Address by clicking "Enable" and typing in the MAC Address from the previous router.
Step 4 for Static IP users not yet on the new network
4a) select "Use the following IP address" from the Ip Settings field and then enter your IP/Gateway and DNS addresses as Provided by BE
4b) If you plugged in a router before having plugged in the WAG160N, you may need to change your Router MAC Address. Check the Router previously plugged in and copy the MAC Addresses.
4c) Select "MAC Address clone" from "Setup" and use This MAC Address by clicking "Enable" and typing in the MAC Address from the previous router.
5) Enter the DNS server addresses, Primary DNS: 87.194.255.154 Secondary DNS: 87.194.255.155 (Or use OpenDNS/Other DNS of your choice)
6) In the area " VC Settings", select LLC and select Disable as the option for Autodetection.
7) Then set the settings as shown below.
VPI=0
VCI=101 for Dynamic IP users and any user not yet on the New Network.
or
VCI=102 for Static IP and Multi-Static IP users once their exchange has been moved to the New Network
DSL Modulation= Multimode

8) Don't forget to goto wireless > Security and enable it.
Annex M / Upload + (On Models Support Annex M)
For Annex M/ Upload +, Select ADSL2+ M in the DSL Modulation field.
SNR (Tested on WAG160N, May work for Others)
Though the router interface does not directly link to a page where the SNR can be monitored, following the below address will provide SNR details which could help predict disconnections, line faults and other issues.
