The 585v7 had a firmware bug in 18.104.22.168 that prevented PPTP based VPN's establishing correctly, please upgrade to the latest firmware and reset the bebox to factory defaults.
Nortel VPN client
Some users have reported issues connecting with the Nortel Connectivity VPN client when using the Bebox V2 (Technicolor 582N)
if you are unable to connect to the VPN please try the following.
1) telnet to the bebox
2) Run the following commands
- connection unbind application IKE port 500
