IRC Commands

/nick <name> - Changes your name

/join <channel> - Joins a new chat channel

/msg <someone> - Sends a private message to someone

/part <channel> - Leaves a channel

/quit <reason> - Disconnects from the server, the reason is optional.

Services are placed on the IRC server to reserve your name and to place order on the chat.

You can register and login to your nick with "nickserv".

Try, "/msg nickserv help" for details. Alternatively, you can also use "/ns help".
